GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for overseeing and managing all investment support analytics functions, including maintenance of shared investment models, portfolio analytics, performance analysis and attribution, trade implementation and monitoring, and compliance monitoring, globally.

Responsible for overseeing and managing administrative support team, including workflow management, training, coordination of schedules and structuring support deliverables.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform and coordinate portfolio analytics, including performance attribution (CAPeR and PMA) and monthly/quarterly reporting data packages

·

Oversee the maintenance of shared investment models and portfolio model summaries including monthly processing and reporting, data verification, and scenario testing at the request of the investment team

·

Monitor and review client trading restrictions to ensure all guidelines are being satisfied in trade implementation

·

Review trading models and implemented trades and monitor trade execution

·

Provide trading support for fixed income investments through trader / broker interface and future relationship building and recommend specific counterparties for trade execution

·

Research market color as it relates to pricing of specific CMBS and REIT corporate bonds

·

Develop portfolio management reports / metrics to analyze overall risk

·

Direct the closing process for all derivative transactions (interest rate swaps, credit default swaps)

·

Direct and monitor client brokerage direction and soft dollar allocation

·

Ensure receipt and investment of client cash inflows and outflows

·

Monitor and maintain CSA agreements and allocations

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

·

BA/BS in finance or business – Master’s degree a plus

·

Minimum of seven years of experience in the investment management or financial services industry.

·

Proven ability to lead, direct and manage a team

·

Proven ability to multi-task, organize teams and develop processes

·

Strong quantitative skills with a high attention to detail

·

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·

Excellent technical skills including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

·

Ability to work under time pressure

·

Experience with trading implementation

·

Working knowledge in economics and investments

·

Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work independently and in a team
