Responsibilities of the position include:
•Play a lead role in the production of marketing materials and coordinate all aspects of quarterly maintenance of materials (Pitch books, factsheets, sales aids, etc.)
•Update and maintain all external consultant databases with strategy and firm level data
•Coordinate completion of all routine due diligence questionnaires from consultants and other intermediaries
•Work under the direction of Relationship Managers to produce all client reviews
•Assist in creation of finals presentations
•Provide support for Product Specialist on research-related matters and specific client requests
•Lead completion of white papers published by investment professionals
•Maintain personnel and biography files for the firm
•Provide support to Senior Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager in development of new collateral, brand management, and execution of ad campaigns and client events as needed
Position Requirements & Attributes
A successful candidate has a Bachelors Degree in Business, with a concentration in Finance or Marketing, or is pursuing a degree with commensurate industry experience. Additional preferred skills and experience include:
•Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills. Expected to cite examples of organization and time management/methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.
•Extensive experience working independently. Experience must include identifying and resolving problems where independent decision-making and initiative were demonstrated.
•Demonstrated experience participating in a team environment that includes sharing knowledge and resources.
•Demonstrated experience maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when handling stressful situations as a result of heavy work volume and strict deadlines.
•Strong aptitude for Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
•Task-oriented and adept at multi-tasking and completing numerous short-term projects.
•Prior experience or understanding of capital markets; ability to grasp financial products.
•Strong desire for organization and an ability to maintain detailed project plans.
•Ability to plan ahead for periods of fluctuating work volumes to ensure efficient processing.
•Strong work ethic and willingness to work longer than normal hours.
•Background or strong interest in marketing or sales or relationship management.
