Elder Service Plan
General Definition and Scope of Job
Under the supervision of the Elder Service Plan (ESP) Director of Reimbursement, the Invoice Specialist is responsible for the processing of all invoices for the Elder Service Plan. Invoice processing includes, but is not limited to, identifying correct general ledger code, communicating with vendors and service providers and Harbor Health accounts payable staff, and obtaining appropriate level of invoice approval. Works with Medicaid Specialists to identify participant monthly financial responsibility at nursing homes and assisted living facilities and insures that amount is reflected on respective invoices. Additional duties include preparing vendor correspondence, filing various office invoice and documents, and ordering office supplies
Minimum Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements:
GED or High School Diploma,
One or more years experience in invoice processing, accounting, clerical, or administrative work,
Ability to research, analyze, edit and correct invoices,
Excellent organizational skills,
Good communication skills,
Computer literate with intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office software.
