Job Summary

Manages a team of associates who are responsible for reviewing incoming loan files for completeness, accuracy and compliance as well as importing and/or uploading the submission into the LOS and any required input of information in order to generate required loan disclosures and prepare the file for underwriting within defined service levels. Provide required and continuous training, education and guidance to team in the following areas, including but not limited to the GFE, HMDA, 3 rd party vendor services as define by New Penn, FHA Connection, DU/LP, the loan origination system or other areas that are essential to the job functions.

Primary Job functions

· Manage loan set-up process to ensure service levels are within define acceptable levels
· Constantly evaluate the processes (LSU Checklist) for improvement opportunities
· Ensure staff members are adequately trained on GFE policies and procedures and are following company and regulatory guidance in this area
· Provide communication to sales staff on submission trends and training items that need to be addressed with brokers
· Monitor pending submissions to ensure proper follow up on deficient loans
· Develop and/or work with the training resources to develop training programs to ensure adequate growth and development of associates
· Participate in the selection and interview process for Loan Set-up candidates
· Communicate with the Operations Manager and other appropriate positions when service levels are at risk
· Monitor system updates, form changes and state specific requirements to ensure compliance
· Serve as a role model for peers and associates by acting with integrity and in a positive manner at all times
· Act as a role model of the company’s values, acting in an ethical and professional manner in all respects
· Participate in management meetings as needed
· Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company funding policies and applicable state laws for team of associates including training, planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance and taking appropriate action when necessary.
· Perform other duties and special projects as required

Qualifications And Experience

· Minimum of 5 year of mortgage experience, including 3 years of loan processing or credit experience
· Minimum of 2 years previous team lead or management experience
· Knowledge of 2010 RESPA changes
· Experienced with in FHA Connection is preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) programs
