Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
Develop and maintain software applications critical to the operations of Caremark by leveraging technical expertise and application depth across the team(s) and business partners to solve complex problems. The Application Development Analyst is expected to demonstrate an advanced level of proficiency in the technologies utilized by the application(s), SDLC methods, and to exercise best practices in system design, coding/testing, documentation, and project execution. Responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames Required Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of and experience with problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding. Strong communication skills are required. Required technical skills are: Experience with Java 1.4 or higher Experience with J2EE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, EJB’s. Experienced with ANSI SQL Experienced with relational databases (MySQL, DB2, etc.) Preferred Qualifications:
Java and J2EE Certification and at least 1 years experience in a java development role is highly preferred. The following technical skills would be a plus: Struts JSF Hibernate Spring JDBC Eclipse/IBM Rational Application Developer IDE IBM DB2 Education:
Bachelor's degreee in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained Business Overview:
