Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The Java Developer works on Java based web applications critical to CVS/Caremark within mail order fulfillment application. CVS/Caremark’s Mail Order application offers a broad range of technologies and significant opportunities for growth. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technical web solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines.
* Partner with third-party vendors for resolution of reported issues with applicable hardware and software.
* Demonstrate proficiency with SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure that quality standards are met
* Assist in the adherence to technical direction, standards, guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies in own discipline. Required Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Web Services development, WebSphere Process Server, or Apache Wicket a plus * Experience in Healthcare (PBM) Industry is preferred * Demonstrated successful completion of several small scope projects * High level of comfort working with different teams (in-house and outsource) and adapt well with the changing environments and within all levels of the organization. * Able to effectively collaborate and share information with other colleagues. * Demonstrated proficiency working on all phases of SDLC * Good organizational and planning skills required. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. * Technical proficiency, facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained Business Overview:
