Develops cost effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications that are more complex with full competency. Coordinates with technical leads, architects, and users to determine requirements. Works under minimal supervision. Helps enforce architecture design and strategies established by Architecture group. May coordinate activities of the project team, mentor peers, and assist in monitoring project schedules. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements more complex software applications and prototypes. Will be responsible for deploying code to test environments and creating rollout plans for production deployments. Applies and drives established development standards, procedures, and strategies within the team and with other departments.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree. Minimum 5 years professional information technology experience.
Specific Skills Required:
Object Oriented Design and Programming
Communication/Documentation (UML, sequence diagrams, wireframes, etc.)
Working knowledge with TFS Repository (Team Foundation Server)
Other Skills Strongly Desired (but not required):
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Web Services, WSDL/SOAP/REST
XML, XSLT, XSD (XML Schema)
Middleware, ESB, BizTalk
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform larger, more complex development tasks, usually requiring originality & ingenuity.
Work with other Leads and the Architect to adhere to established architecture principles for development projects.
Work with team members to meet sprint commitments.
Follow departmental procedures and processes implemented by the Tech Lead and Development Manager.
