Under the direct supervision of the Vocational Supervisor (Janitorial, Employment Services, Supported Employment), the Job Coach’s primary responsibilities include helping individuals served to successfully perform work and work-related activities, build good relationships with work and community members and know individuals well enough to develop good ideas for outcomes and job development.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support individuals to successfully perform work and work-related activities.
Provide safe and reliable transportation to individuals for work and work-related activities.
Promote health and safety for individuals served in all settings and activities.
Help individuals identify and develop positive relationships from work and work-related activities.
Know individuals well enough to help identify good ideas for Individual Plan “personal outcomes” and job development.
Complete and submit required documentation accurately and on time.
Look for opportunities where individuals can contribute to their communities and build positive reputations.
Complete other duties as assigned.

The Job Coach must also complete all general and individual-specific training as designated in the Individual Plan necessary to appropriately support each individual served.
