DESCRIPTION

Journeyman Lineman needed for work in Western North Dakota!! If you have the knowledge and experience in this field, we'd like you to join our experienced, motivated, and detailed crew!

A Journeyman Lineman is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and servicing assigned jobs. The Journeyman Lineman is also responsible for interpreting blueprints, manufacture's specifications, also written and verbal instructions. The Journeyman Lineman is accountable for ensuring job is done in a safe manner and according to code. The Journeyman Lineman will also be responsible for working alone or with crews installing and maintaining electrical distribution and transmission systems. The Journeyman Lineman will also be responsible for training and instructing Apprentice Lineman. Journeyman Lineman must be able to climb power line structures that may or may not be energized.

DUTIES

Operation - Troubleshooting, repairing and servicing assigned jobs, interpreting blueprints, manufacture's specifications, also written and verbal instructions.
Leadership - provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention and fire prevention programs on a project, provide leadership for training and instructions the Apprentice Lineman
Other - Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have valid Class A driver's license and experience in transmission work, underground, substations, and distribution work. Must have successfully completed the requirements through the Lineman Apprenticeship Training Program. Experience with maintenance repair, and the necessary tools, materials and equipment to perform these operations. Must possess a certificate or proof of Journeyman status.
