Contractor engineering support service for the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) Light
Armored Vehicle (LAV) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
Primary place of performance is not listed, but must be able to travel to Yuma, Arizona; Aberdeen, Maryland; White Sands, New Mexico and Redstone, Alabama for services.
a. Experience with all vehicle and weapon systems test requirement such as but not limited to:
(1) LAV chassis subsystem, the hull assembly, fuel, steering, suspension, brake,
driveline, power pack, hydraulic, electrical, communications, fire suppression, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection (NBC), stowage systems, and HFE (Human Factor Engineering) & vehicle safety issues and/or concerns.
(2) LAV Weapon Systems not be limited to turret shell, fire control system (to include the fire control computer and integrated sight assembly), slip ring or cable chain, and turret drive assemblies, armament system (i.e., primary, supplementary, and ancillary weapons), Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection (NBC), communications, navigation systems and HFE & weapon safety issues and/or concerns.
b. Experience with U.S. Government test sites.
c. Development of TEMP (Test & Evaluation Master Plan) that aligns with the SEP (System Engineering Plan) to assist in managing PVT test efforts. In addition to technical reporting and translation of technical data, and maintain TIRs (Test Incident Reports) matrix development and test reporting.
a. Bachelor of Engineering degree and
b. One (1) year of a combination of technical knowledge below or equivalent work experience*
*Equivalent work experience = a minimum of 4 years of technical experience below is required. No other substitutions shall be considered.
