This critical position will be responsible for financial, operational and compliance audits. The audit process encompasses developing an internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports. Additional duties include assisting the Internal Audit Director with periodic reporting to the Audit Committee and developing the annual internal audit plan. The ideal candidate also has a sound knowledge base of IT security and controls.
Answer questions and resolve problems related to technology products and services offered by ITG.
Coordinate mobile device acquisition and deployment including associated vendor management.
Install, configure, test and maintain hardware, software and peripherals.
Resolve issues within a specified timeframe or escalate for further investigation.
Provide just-in-time training or guidance in the use of technology.
Maintain documentation on incoming callsncluding steps and actions taken to resolve issues.
Share experiences with technology support team.
Continually focus on learning new technologies to support rapidly changing and expanding environment.
Present a positive, customer-focused image.
Assist with all aspects of daily IT operations.
Minimum 2 year degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years desktop support in a fast-paced, service-oriented IT environment
Basic knowledge of and proficiency supporting the following:
Wintel/Apple personal computers and associated peripherals
Microsoft Outlook, Windows XP/7, MS Office, Adobe Suite, Internet Explorer, Firefox
Avaya, Interactive Intelligence, Polycom, WebEx
Mobile devices – Blackberry, iPhone, iPad
Verizon and AT&T domestic and international service plans.
Virus protection, spam filtering and network security products
Working knowledge of spreadsheet construction, word processing.
Must be a team player and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications required, notably Excel and Word.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Extremely strong analytical skills.
Ability to research and investigate financial and compliance matters.
Must be able to travel to all ASPCA locations and to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate special events and projects.
Knowledge of MAC environment and office productivity software a plus.
Love of animals and an interest in the organization’s mission of animal welfare a plus.
