The Programmer Analyst is primarily responsible for designing, developing and implementing changes to the existing ERP. Other programming may also be required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning and performing analysis to guide the design, implementation and/or improvement of an existing ERP system and company websites
Developing data requirements and design specifications and translating them into systems designs
Writing, translating and coding software programs and applications according to specifications
Designing, running and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs
Recommending, scheduling, installing and performing software improvements and upgrades
Developing and maintaining documentation of program development and subsequent revisions
Consulting with managers, technical personnel and various departments to clarify program intent, identify problems and suggest changes
Performing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
Collaborating with business units and end users to understand workflow processes and business requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in structured programming. Working knowledge of shell scripting languages and SQL. Experience in BASIC, C, or Decision + is preferred.
