Laffster is looking for an incredibly talented full-time engineer who is passionate about solving hard problems and wants to be a part of building the most intuitive and social comedy platform on the web. Our web app is a cutting-edge HTML5 browsing experience powered by a backend running on cloud architecture. As a Laffster engineer, you'll get to learn these technologies, work with talented engineers and laugh while you’re doing it.

We're looking for a Jr. Software Engineer (HTML5/CoffeeScript), bonus for backend experience.

About the job:
Collaborate around the creation of new and existing features

Craft and maintain front-end services and/or back-end services

Build scalable infrastructure to support fast growing product

Work with the product team to implement product features and roll out new functionality

Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Strong JavaScript background and an interest in learning CoffeeScript

Knowledge of MVC architecture on both the client and server

Self-starter with attention to detail

Bonus:
Experience with Node.js and/or Ember.js

Experience with Postgres and Redis

Experience with Jade, Less, Sublime
