Refreshment Services is currently searching for a National Accounts Accountant to support the Accounting function in our Philadelphia headquarters.
Refreshment Services Centrally Billed JR Accountant
will be responsible for monitoring and accounting for receivable and invoicing activity for approximately 20 Clients. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and some non-routine accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: , application of daily deposits, researching and clearing unapplied cash issues, researching credit memo activity, preparing required journal entries, and researching and correcting any billing errors, subcontractor uploads, and paying of subcontractors.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance coupled with at least 1 year of relevant experience A strong knowledge of accounting software, preferably Oracle, is desired as is experience in the review of client contracts. The successful individual will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to work autonomously and make sound business judgments. Previous experience working in a highly decentralized organization coupled with the ability to influence without formal authority is key. Demonstrated financial astuteness, strong analytical abilities and experience effectively communicating with all levels of an organization are a must.
