RGS is seeking a Junior Budget Analyst to support a DoD client in Arlington VA. The Junior Budget Analyst will support organizational transformation for a large IT program office.
Responsibilities:
•Assist in all phases of budget formulation, justification, and execution.
•Consolidate and correlate budget requests.
•Develop and present budget estimates, track, control, and report obligations and expenditures.
•Design and develop spreadsheets and related analysis to track and support the program.
•Provide analysis of operations and recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.
•Develop and present related briefings.
Required Skills:
•Minimum of 1 year budget/PPBE analysis experience.
•Excellent qualitative and analytical skills.
•Effective communication skills: written, oral, and listening.
•Familiarity with MS Office Products.
•Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
Desired Skills:
•Experience with government/management consulting environment.
•Experience in large government transformation/IT programs.
•Experience providing budget support for large DoD acquisition programs.
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance or related discipline required.
Clearance:
•Eligibility to obtain DoD Position of Public Trust; DoD Secret preferred
