Duties of Position
Will be responsible for researching and evaluating Military Healthcare System software at government installations and installing and supporting the software and hardware solutions at government installations. This individual will work with government site reps in a team setting to develop software packages, device configurations, site training and documentation.
Job responsibilities will include:
Understanding and familiarity with two or more of the following software platforms.
ESB/ EAI Datapower, WESB, Aqualogic, JBoss, Mule, Oracle ESB, Apache Synapse, Service Mix.
Caching JBoss Cache, Tangosol Coherence (Now Oracle Cache), EhCache, Terracotta.
Virtualization Infrastructure CloudFoundry, CloudBee, or OpenStack.
Persistence Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB, RDBMS.
Modeling tools UML Rational Rose, Visual Paradigm, Together J, RAD, Visio.
Modeling tools DODAF System Architect, Sparx, ARIS.
Experience with CAC-based security using tools such as TumbleWeed.
Experience with CAC-based security for Mobile devices using Bluetooth / similar technologies.
2-4 years identifying high level use cases based on various documentation.
2-4 years creating high level use case realization diagrams to illustrate interaction patterns between various components based on selected use cases.
2-4 years implementing 4+1 (or equivalent, such as ECCF for DODAF) architecture and/or participating in the development of artifacts related to 4+1 model.
4-6 years software development roles such as deployment architect, developer, technical architect etc.
4-6 years developing end to end deployment estimates and support estimates for various SOA infrastructure.
2-4 years modeling notations such as UML, DODAF (2.0 preferred).
Solid understanding of software development methodologies.
Solid understanding of best practices with respect to infrastructure deployment, configuration management.
Interviewing techniques to solicit appropriate stakeholder feedback.
Relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
Work on architecture review boards where infrastructure artifacts were reviewed.
Working large scale systems development projects in a commercial or DoD environment.
Work in a similar DoD infrastructure environment (such as DISA).
Work with information assurance processes.
Work experience with MHS systems.
Work experience with SnareWorks, MUMPS/M programming language, and .NET.
Field of Study
The individual must be a team player that can work under pressure with good written and oral communication skills. He/she must be able to train others on various computer software and hardware.
