Position Summary:
The Junior Enrollment Analyst, along with the Associate Director of Admission for Enrollment Assessment, is responsible for the daily management of data and reporting as they relate to college and university admission, enrollment, recruitment and retention. The Junior Enrollment Analyst must possess analytical skill sets in order to analyze enrollment data for a variety of purposes. The Junior Enrollment Analyst must have the ability to think logically, handle a number of tasks simultaneously, concentrate and pay attention to detail and possess strong communication skills.

Reporting to Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Communication Specialist with list extraction for email communications and coordinate imports/exports from multiple information systems when needed

Perform daily maintenance, manipulation, retrieval, extraction, downloading, uploading and cleansing of data for reporting

Coordinate and collaborate with the operations staff on the prospective student information data entry process

Write, proofread, and edit reports as directed by Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment

Analyze and report on admission, recruitment, financial aid, and registration data.

Work with several constituents across campus to ensure that accurate data is being analyzed and reported

Perform ad-hoc reporting for a variety of constituents across campus including the counseling staff in the Admission Office

Develop strategies for collecting and maintaining quality data for analysis

Work with Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment to research, acquire and implement advanced statistical modeling tools

Manage the exporting of data to vendors in support of recruitment communication outreach and consult with Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment to insure the best collection and use of data

Liaise with the IT Department to ensure continuous improvements and accuracy of data and reporting for the entire Enrollment and Admission Office

Perform external market trend and data analysis to assist with recruitment efforts -ETS, College Board, ACT, GRE, GMAT, etc.

Advise the Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment on data stewardship issues

Additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Enrollment Assessment

Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience in enrollment management preferred

Excellent English language communication skills required. Bilingual a plus.

Proven ability to analyze and interpret data

Ability to provide a high level of customer service.

Ability to work collaboratively with others

Ability to use and understand data from a variety of sources

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Skill using of personal computers, specifically Microsoft office programs(Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports

Database management skills

Extreme attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to work collaboratively with others

Strong customer service skills

Using independent judgment in problem-solving of complex reporting issues
