We have an opening for a Junior IT Recruiter in Indianapolis, IN. This individual will be responsible for managing the full recruiting cycle from research to candidate identification, in person interview, evaluation technical assessment, formal submittal, pre-closing, offer negotiation, closing, and vetting.

Position Description:
Review pending requisitions for accuracy and compose position descriptions to insure a compelling job posting for attracting active candidates

Partner with Proposal Manager to identify effective sourcing strategies

Initiate search techniques to identify passive candidates

Support job fairs as required by strategic needs of business and for branding of company

Manage all candidate activity and frequently update report of candidate activity

Provide candidate summary daily and coordinate interview process with client

Negotiate offers of employment with candidate consistent with the needs of the business

Initiate offer approval process and extend formal offers of employment

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Experience with full cycle IT recruiting

Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills

Develop effective job postings

Maintain online new media job postings

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment

Effective oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork

Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work

Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule

Excellent organizational skills

Must meet recruitment deadlines consistently

Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Gather and analyze information skillfully

Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with candidates and constituents

Plus++ Background in the below qualifications would be a plus.

Experience with Taleo recruiting software a plus

General knowledge of various employment laws and practices

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Skills in database management and record keeping

Education and Experience :
An Associates or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a minimum of one year in IT Recruiting experience is required
