Based out of our Corporate Office in Newport Beach the Business Systems Analyst works with colleagues and internal clients to design, configure, implement and deploy solutions based on our company’s software platforms. Daily responsibilities include specifying business requirements, configuring software to meet those requirements, and working with the internal client to ensure successful implementations.
Assist in developing, testing, and implementing system enhancements.
Troubleshooting system bugs and defects reported by users.
Drafting business requirements outlined by business needs.
Determining needed changes to our originations system and additional resources required to meet business needs.
Participate in user requirements and specification meetings and perform and participate in design and code reviews.
Produce functional specification documentation and work closely with various departments to coordinate efforts to meet deadlines.
Assess and analyze the requirements needed to implement changes and advise on the options available to support the request within the system constraints while assessing potential risks and impacts.
Provide technical leadership and assist with root cause analysis of technical problems in the development, QA, or production environments.

Managing back office configuration and testing
BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or comparable technical discipline and business knowledge experience)
1-3 years experience in a Technical Analyst role or the equivalent required
Understanding of the Financial Services Industry is desired, especially within the credit lifecycle.
1-3 years experience with at least one of the following technologies:
Java (Knowledge of JSP, JSTL, JPA preferred) - REQUIRED!
Preferred experience in the following:
Web development using jQuery.
Familiarity with XML and web services
