Our Junior Product Analysts are responsible for a portfolio of some of the Internet’s most popular web and mobile apps. Coverage ranges from entertainment and social media to project management and business tools. As those web products and mobile apps change, our analysts provide real-time education for people all over the world, in the form of video lessons, text and infographics.
Junior Product Analysts work closely with our in-house content team of professional video editors, animators, illustrators and designers to produce video lessons and animations.
Responsible for a portfolio of web products, spanning a variety of topics, such as social media, business tools, travel, shopping and entertainment Become an expert on each product you cover: communicate the core value of each product, know who’s using it and for what they’re using it, understand all of its features, and can teach others how to use those features Stay up-to-date on Internet trends and news related to the web products you cover, and provide our users real-time education on those updates Write informative and engaging copy for video tutorials, blog posts and infographics Work side-by-side with professional video editors, animators and illustrators to produce top-quality videos, blog posts, infographics and other educational materials Work with our marketing and social media team to write intelligent, engaging and witty ‘How-To,’ trend and advice articles for internal and external publication Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
2-5 years of professional experience as a research analyst, financial analyst, consultant, or content manager (start-up experience preferred) Undergraduate degree from a top 30 university or 20 liberal arts college Lives in NYC or is willing to relocate for the right opportunity Venture-funded start-up experience (preferred) Proficient in WordPress (preferred) Previous experience writing about the Internet (preferred) Lives and breathes the Internet (personal) Loves the start-up lifestyle and culture (personal) Is an analytical thinker (personal) Positive, upbeat attitude (personal) Has great problem solving skills (personal) Has attention to detail (personal) Can communicate clearly, concisely and quickly, both verbally and in writing (personal) Takes pride in his or her work (personal) Is very proactive and solutions-focused (personal)
