Job Descriptions:
JOB SUMMARY: Assists the project manager by providing overall management direction and ensures proper execution and timely completion of all assigned projects

Primary Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and staffs key field positions and projects

Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy

Initiates and maintains relationships with prime clients and contacts in order to facilitate construction activities

Monitors/controls construction through administrative direction of on-site contacts to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures

Represents company in project meetings, assists in strategy meetings, etc.

Manages financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with Client

Managers Safety of electricians on job site

Responsible for compiling and submitting time sheets for crew

Monitors As-built documents and drawings and keeps up to date

Responsible for ordering material and cost projections

Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
Experience, Skill, and Educational Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Building Science or Construction Management preferred; or 5 years of previous experience in construction, design, or project management

Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance

Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities

Ability to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner

Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner

Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit and analyze data

Ability to create, edit and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files and Power Point presentations

Ability to create, navigate, search and update Rogers Electric’s systems (work orders, reports, quotes, invoices etc, emails)

Proficiency in MS Office Suite
