Position: Junior Research Technician ; Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, MD

Position Description : T his position requires p erform ing a variety of tasks in support of a diverse research environment. Responsibilities include management of chemicals (solids, liquids and gasses), including tracking, maintaining inventories, performing deliveries and transporting waste containers, as well as supporting engineers and technicians to perform scheduled and unscheduled ma intenance on a wide variety of research equipment, keeping lab areas tidy and orderly and supporting researchers with basic tasks .

- Must be able occasionally to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good grade s in High School Chemistry and Mathematics (B or better, prefer honors or AP classes)

The selected candidate will be a contract employee of General Technical Services LLC (GTS). US citizenship is requir ed (security clearance) . There may be occasional travel. GTS offers company-funded educational support for job-related training.
