We are looking for a smart and motivated developer to join Dynamic Logic’s Emerging Media Lab. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, social media and consumer insights.
As a member of the Emerging Media Lab, we want you to bring not only your programming skills to the table but a creative mindset as well. We don’t want you to sit at your desk and write code 24/7 – we'd like you actively participate in creating the next generation of social and mobile measurement solutions. We crank out new products every single month, which means there is never a dull moment in the Lab.
Big Data Scaling & Investigation - Scale our infrastructure to tackle the ever growing amount of data we collect
Data Science – Constantly improve our algorithms to deliver superior insights
Technology is the backbone of the Lab, but personality is very important too. This is a client-facing team where you will interact directly with the top platforms, start-ups, agencies, publishers, and some of the best brands in the world. We are a start-up within the larger organization and people will look to you for both technical and strategic guidance in the fluid world of emerging media.
BS in Computer Science, Math or related field preferred
Experience with developing backend and/or web applications using modern languages
Familiarity with revision control systems, relational / document-oriented databases and cloud computing
Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and within a team
Interest in consumer insights
Experience using Facebook, Twitter, or Foursquare API
Experience using Machine Learning and NLP techniques
Active GitHub account
Passionate user of new and emerging media (particularly social media and mobile)
Technical Skills in: Haskell, Erlang, Scala, Hadoop, Cassandra, Pig, Storm, Trident, Solr, Riak, Map/Reduce, HBase
