Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires two equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide cost estimating/analysis and budget analysis and execution support for Navy acquisition programs. Applicants will possess analytical and problem solving skills with an in-depth knowledge of cost estimating. In addition, applicants will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Successful candidates will have experience which includes two or more years of preparing cost estimates and budgets for major Department of Defense system acquisitions (preferably ship acquisition) programs, assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives as well as preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings. ACEIT experience preferred.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain the proper security clearance.
Responsibilities include conducting cost analyses in support of Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), Business Case Analyses (BCAs), trade studies, and cost analyses for government clients; providing analytical support for reporting requirements, financial analysis and budget, program controls, requirements development, and planning implementation for government programs.
