Promotes Company’s products and services to attain maximum sales volume for National/Key Customer Accounts and implements Company programs/ strategies to increase sales/profits

• Develops and maintains relationships with national/key accounts
• Regularly calls on assigned national/key accounts to ensure proper representation of selling techniques, products, features and benefits
• Provides sales service, ensures customer satisfaction, identifies additional sales opportunities and coordinates ad hoc/scheduled training sessions
• Implements Company marketing programs geared towards the National/Key Accounts, monitors and analyzes effectiveness
• Works with internal contacts to ensure fulfillment of sales objectives/resolution of issues
• Creates/maintains vendor files, sets monthly, quarterly and annual plans/sales/training goals, and sets criteria with internal contacts to service and manage accounts
• Prepares/submits plans/results various reports and paperwork/records
• Works with National/Key Account contacts to resolve/follow up on returns or product/service concerns, assists in proper floor displays/layouts of Point Of Purchase materials, ensures product maintenance and notes discrepancies
• Ensures awareness of promotional/advertising schedules with sales associates at retail level, and surveys its effectiveness and assists in analyzing promotional/advertising results and recommends local promotional advertising
• Maintains knowledge of the competitor products in order to analyze and monitor vendor comparisons
• Attends appropriate training programs and meetings to maintain current knowledge in the field and conducts retail sales training/Plant tours
• Recommends/implements new sales/marketing programs
• Bachelors degree in applicable field of study or High School graduate/GED equivalent with 3-5 years of related outside sales experience
• Valid driver’s license, with a good driving record and proof of auto liability insurance
• Effective communication/interpersonal skills
• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet research skills
• Some related outside/territory sales or service experience
• Familiarity working with the needs of national retail accounts
• Experience leading training programs or experience presenting to an audience
