Key Account Sales Manager / Medium & Heavy Duty Truck

We are seeking an entrepreneurial person to lead key account sales and develop existing relationships with major North American OEMs. This positions responsibility includes:
Act as primary point of contact with OEM for customer purchasing and engineering contacts.
Manage Key Account by processing inquiries, compiling quotes and setting goals/targets as well as monitoring margins, expenditures, pricing, costing, profitability and service.
Maintain Key Account knowledge base by planning, controlling and directing commercial activities within assigned accounts.
Monitor contract terms by customer and review goals/targets controlling margins, expenditures, etc.
Establish customer relationship management and communicate account status, VOC, and customer input regarding LMNA within Key Account organization.
Gather and review information during project preparation to support Program Manager in development of scope of work.
Develop business plans for assigned account(s) and provide monthly forecasting for material and production planning to meet corporate strategic plans.
Preparation of major quotations, service and maintenance programs, project implementation and implementation of strategic alliances with potential partners.
Participate with continuous improvement programs aimed at customer measurements and collaborate within project management teams.
Attend industry trade shows and promote new LMNA products and manufacturing improvements to customer engineering and styling.
Customer visits for contract negotiations at customer location and at LMNA
Execute other activities, such as problem solving as required by Key Account and LMNA management
Bachelors Degree (Marketing/Business/Engineering)
3-5+ years of Key Account sales experience with class 5/ 6/ 7/ 8 truck OEM
Self-starter with demonstrated sales management accomplishments
Experience in project/program management
Advanced PC skills – ERP and Microsoft office programs
Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation
Candidates must be able to travel 20-30% including overnight travel
Experience working in a global environment
