As a Key Account Manager you will focus on driving territory growth and profitability by managing and upselling existing accounts as well as capturing and building new relationships. Your focus will be on identifying needs, establishing buying cycles, and supplying appropriate solutions to meet those needs. By providing continuing education to existing customers and managing customer relationships, you will ensure that MBL provides the highest level of product and service quality while meeting our customer needs.
E ssential Duties and Responsibilities : Manage assigned accounts ‚ call on prospective customers, establish buying cycles, customer needs, develop customer-supplier relationship, increase sales in respective accounts, prepare sales information for customers ‚ establish buying motives, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts ‚ secure orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, M.S. is a plus
2 -3 years of laboratory experience
1-2 years sales experience with successful negotiation and closing skills
Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business
Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Software
A valid driver’s license
