The Coordinator position will support the Community Relations and Kings Care Foundation Department with planning and implementing all philanthropic initiatives. Additionally, the Coordinator will help develop and execute fundraising events and programs for the Kings Care Foundation.

• Assist with implementing Kings Care Foundation fundraisers and programming
- Fundraisers includes but are not limited to the annual Golf Tournament ,Tip-A-King and Kings Camp events, game night silent auctions, online auctions and the Diamond Vision message
board program.
- Review and respond to donation requests and grant applications
- Respond to local charity requests
- Coordinate Data Capture plan
- Organize player autograph sessions for organization
- Assist with updating of Kings Care Foundation web site
- Organize and attend monthly Kings Care Foundation board meetings
- Organize player autograph sessions for organization
20%
• Provide administrative support for respective job function and departmental needs
- Create and maintain departmental databases
- Assist with correspondence
- Research information and routine problem solving
- Perform tasks including maintenance of filing systems, faxing and photocopying
- Maintain department supplies, equipment, materials, etc.
- Organize and maintain storage areas and shared work space(s)
10%
• Assist the Community Development Department’s programs and initiatives
- Assist with Special Events organized by the Community Development Department
- Assist with Kings Booster Club
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the surrounding communities for both the Community
Development Department and the Kings Care Foundation (includes the South Bay)
• Develop and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education:
• College Degree Preferred- AA/BA/BS
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other
combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and
abilities.
Experience:
• Microsoft Office preferred; including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Event planning, community development and/or non-profit experience preferred
• DonorPerfect a plus
