Kiva is continually interested in engaging our lenders and community through stimulating and educational content on our website. We are in the process of creating channels to get more educational content onto our blog and into the hands of our community. We are looking for an intern to create and manage content through two means. 1) We will be increasing the content produced internally and posted to the web and 2) We will be working with other organizations to produce Guest Blogger series (the Microfinance 101 series produced with FAI was the first of these). This person will work with the Community Outreach team and a liaison within the Microfinance Partnerships team, as well as Partnering organizations.

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of microfinance, economics, current events, and an interest in learning about Kiva and the microfinance industry!

Strong writing skills

Ability to think strategically, manage relationships with Guest Blogger partner organizations, and organize internal meetings around educational content.

Document all progress and new "series" guidelines on the Kiva Wiki

Send monthly progress reports to Director

Evaluate program and refine to improve results delivery

As this is a new position, we are interested in someone who is a great leader, a self-started, and who has strong communication skills.
