Are you a technology junkie? Are you interested in starting down the path that leads to a career in technology and product leadership? Are you smart, detail-oriented and willing to learn? If so, you would make a great Product Management intern. The Product Management intern will be responsible for helping the team through some critical parts of the product cycle - research, documentation, and quality assurance. This role will help us test new and existing features that are critical to helping our staff and Field Partners make Kiva work. The Partner Product intern will also help Product Managers conduct product research and document both existing and new features for both internal and external audiences.

Job Responsibilities

Run QA regressions on Partner Product tools

Test new features and create new feature test plans

Test existing tools during our normal development cycle

Write detailed reports of any issues found


Create user guides and training materials

Write copy for help text as needed

Product Research

Conduct user interviews

Compile product analytics

Assist in tool selection

Required Skills

BA or equivalent degree required

Interest in learning about agile software development

Previous Product Management, Engineering or SQL/analytics experience preferred.

Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Strong detail orientation.

Love for and deep understanding of technology

Is self directed, eager to meet and exceed objectives, and excited to take on more responsibility

Someone with a "ready to help" attitude

Strong execution orientation; proven ability to deliver quality projects that satisfy and delight customers

Strong commitment to ethics, honesty, and integrity in conducting business

Natural leadership skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

A quick study, able to grasp business, international development, and technology issues
