Knowledge Management (KM) Specialists support large Government transformation and IT programs as they collaborate with stakeholders to make programs successful.

Responsibilities may include:
Supporting knowledge management across Government employees and contractors on large, complex IT programs

Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of knowledge management processes to promote information exchange

Coordinating transfer of intellectual capital assets from business owners and their systems to a central repository

Establishing KM capability to facilitate data sharing and access to legacy data sources

Required Qualifications:
At least 6 years of relevant experience (salary commensurate with a total of 6-7 years of total work experience only)

Expertise in KM and familiarly with knowledge management processes, tools, systems

Experience in process design and proficiency with use of SharePoint

Experience in working with senior level clients and active, diverse stakeholder groups

Project management experience and skills

Experience in Government consulting

Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

Experience leading teams or supervising people

Passion for/interest in homeland security required

Bachelor's degree required

US Citizenship required / ability to get security clearance

Additional Preferred Skills:
Homeland security experience, preferably with large technology programs

Experience in large department-wide technology transformation programs

Active security clearance
