Description

I. JOB SUMMARY

Manages a team of instructional design and communications staff to support Choices systems training, support and development efforts. Conducts analysis on documentation and training material needs and creates project plans to meet those needs. Manages the process of adding and updating information in system help files and the support Knowledge Base. Oversees the development of new interactive online learning content pertaining to Choices systems.
Develops new training materials and tools to continually enhance the effectiveness of Choices systems training and support activities. Manages team performance and development.

Manages on-going development, hiring, and training for the instructional design/communication team 15 E
Develops processes and tools to ensure the effective and timely creation of new training materials, documentation and online content 20 E
Ensures consistent, regular and effective communication regarding Choices systems to appropriate groups of franchisees and Choice associates 20 E
Conducts performance reviews of staff and develops training initiatives to address team requirements and on-going staff development 10 E
Assists with the development and creation of training materials 20 E
Manages payroll, budgeting and staffing requirements for the team 5 E
Provides recommendations to management on further enhancing the efforts of the team 5

Works with Choices development teams to stay on top of updates, releases and system changes/issues 5 E

III. REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in Education, Management, or related field
At least five years of related work experience
Solid understanding of effective instructional design
Experience with Choice Property Systems Products preferred
Ability to work under pressure and/or for extended hours
Attentive to details
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Proven experience in developing and implementing new programs
Proven experience in managing teams
Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and software systems with ability to relate to end users
Ability to satisfy customers needs and complaints
Must be able to uphold Choices Values & Performance Principles of collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect

IV. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Willingness and ability to travel as required (25% of the time)
