Provides general laboratory support and assistance to aid the Principal Investigator in conducting sponsored research on congenital hydrocephalus.
Bachelor's degree in life sciences related field.
At least six months of full-time research experience.
Basic laboratory skills.
Cell culture experience
Western blotting, protein experience.
Real-time PCR experience.
Animal handling skills (training and certification required but can be obtained on the job).
Basic computer skills, basic math and critical thinking skills, ability to read the scientific literature, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience using centrifuges, balances, electrophoresis equipment, Cell culture, and aseptic techniques.
