Job Summary The LAN Supervisor is responsible for developing leading and motivating a team of Microsoft Engineers to deliver excellent technicalnontechnical support with outstanding customer service satisfaction and timeliness within the organization’s budget This position has frequent contact with customers direct reports peers and independent vendors Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the MS Network Services Products department ensuring accurate and timely technical support and problem resolution is delivered with excellence to the Atomic customers internal and external Utilize performance measurement frameworks and feedback systems for MS Network Services Products to enhance the quality of support delivered (ie customer service communication and technical skills) identify potential deficiencies troubleshoot challenges and provide solutions for improvement Manage hire and train direct reports make staff selections and employment decisions in accordance with established departmental procedures Human Resources guidelines and company policies Ensure staff is trained and developed to meet the goals and needs of the department establish a collaborative team environment and provide constructive feedback on a regular basis Supports and encourages cross training ongoing education and opportunities that enhance the employees growth Prepare performance evaluations for direct reports monitor and evaluate performance standards (ie productivity accuracy and attendance) coach and counsel staff as appropriate Provide technical updates to managers and customers during implementation and troubleshooting processes Develop and enhance cooperative interdepartmental and vendor relationships and communications Qualifications AA Degree required Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related field experience Minimum five (5) years experience providing technical support in a LAN environment to include a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience required Microsoft Certifications required MCSA MCSE etc Thorough knowledge of operations to include IT best practices industry trends and customer service experience implementing methodologies to improve first call resolution manage customer perceptions and build strong internal relationships Extensive experience supporting Microsoft servers workstations and applications Exceptional working knowledge of desktop operating systems (all Windows system including Windows 7) Terminal Services Roaming Profiles understanding of network and server issues (Windows Linux servers Exchange Server Blackberry) familiarity with web tools and technology Excellent leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary highperformance teams developing and implementing new technology and processes experience with meeting Service Level Agreements Superb communication and interpersonal skills able to work with customers at all levels and develop effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems Successful development and implementation of new technology and processes Able to handle process and procedure dynamics Skill Requirements Scale of 1 to 5 with 1 worked with in some manner 2 used skill on a regular basis 3 extensive experience 4 major resource 5 expert Skill Area Level Req Skill Area Level Req Skill Area Level Req Active Directory 4 SAN Management 3 Time Management 4 Network Infrastructure 4 ITIL Standards 3 Customer Service 5 Enterprise Desktop Support 4 MS Exchange 34 Problem Solving 4 MS Sys Admin Windows 4 Cisco Technologies 23 Independent 3 Virtual Environments 45 Technical Documentation 34 ReplicationBackup Systems 4 Organization 3 Our Culture With Atomic Datas servicecentered approach to business we are only as strong as the weakest link in our team Our clients have high expectations for our services and so expectations for our employees are even higher We’re a team of smart dedicated hardworking men and women that take pride in exceeding our client’s expectations at every turn Though we may work hard we love to play hard too Rewarding our employees is essential to maintaining our unrivaled service experience With benefits ranging from Minnesota Twins games monthly companyclient BBQs full health coverage 401K plans cellphone and Internet stipends onpremise workout facilities to paid vacation and competitive salaries Atomic Data knows how to keep our people happy Integrity is the key to our success We do what we say Supervisor Experience; MCSA, MCSE
