The Lead of Application Support is responsible for leading a team of Systems Analysts and Database Administrators. This is a hands-on position which expects contributions to the team as a Senior Systems Analyst and/or Database Administrator. The team is responsible for the installation, maintenance, upgrades, patching, product expertise, database administration, and level-2 technical support of all LCEC enterprise applications.

Specific Responsibilities: Systems Analysts in LCEC Application Support team support two distinct operating system technologies: Microsoft-based and Linux-based.
The following responsibilities are divided based upon these:
Microsoft Windows-Based Applications
•Works with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012.
•Works with Microsoft SQL 2008R2 and Windows SQL 2012.
•Works with T-SQL
•Understands batch scripting using Windows scripting tools.
•Understands the role of Microsoft Active Directory and security paradigms.
•Knowledge/understanding of WebLogic and IIS helpful
•Knowledge/understanding of Projects 2010 helpful
•Knowledge/understanding of Windows databases helpful.
Required Qualification Requirements
oB.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field of study plus minimum 6 years of Application System Analyst experience or Database Administrator experience. Or, minimum 10 years of Application System Analyst or Database Administrator experience.
oThree or more Microsoft Certifications.
Desire Qualification Requirements:
oWorks with Linux Red Hat
oWorks with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Oracle SQL and MySQL
oUnderstands basic Linux commands
oKnowledge/understanding of Web Logic helpful
oKnowledge/understanding of Oracle databases helpful
•Experience with any of the following systems

oTrimble Utility Center
oLogica ARM Suite
oAclara TWACS or similar AMI system
