Responsible for various business functions such as sales opportunity review, strategy development, profitability analysis, contract negotiation, and telecom service design. Reviews financial data as related to various requests for special pricing and identifies possible risks associated with legal terms, product descriptions, and price concessions. Maintains records supporting all business cases. Uses keen business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations. Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.

Key Working Relationships: Direct Sales, Senior Executives, Legal, Product Management, Regulatory, Billing, and Network Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:

Full financial and strategic ownership of the most complex business opportunities

Play a pivotal role in obtaining business unit sales and profitability objectives by providing consultative, strategic and analytic services to multiple sales teams with the primary deliverables being ICB pricing approvals, guidance regarding offer structure and ICB contracts

Financially evaluate sales opportunities and provide risk assessment of customer requested terms and conditions (includes business case preparation for policy 107 impacted deals)

Negotiate pricing and contract terms directly with customers

Consult with various internal organizations who also participate in the business unit’s pricing/contracts process (i.e. Legal, Product Management, Treasury, Finance, Billing & Engineering)

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Economics or Accounting

Advanced proficiency creating, interpreting and communicating financial information and statistical analysis

Ability to work independently with little supervision and be able to effectively multi-task in a very fast paced environment

Proficient in MS-Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to use advanced features in Excel such as nested functions, pivot tables and custom charts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Telecom industry experience

Corporate financial analysis experience

Prior experience working in support of a large, national sales force
