Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology, with a minimum of two years of college level teaching experience is required. American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification and clinical work experience is preferred. A demonstrated understanding of the mission of the comprehensive community college and its diverse commuter student population is essential.

Under the direction of the Exercise Science Program Director, the successful applicant will teach courses in exercise physiology, clinical exercise programming and prescription and health-fitness/wellness. H/she will carry out related curriculum/course development projects; advise students; serve on college committees; maintain membership in professional organizations and develop liaisons with colleagues in the field; and undertake other community service responsibilities related to a full-time faculty position. The incumbent is expected to represent the College in a positive manner and work as a team player with colleagues in the department.
$47,705 approximate annual; plus excellent State medical insurance, retirement and related fringe benefits.
