I. On Stand Duties A. Remains alert and attentive while on the lifeguard stand. B. Consistently scans the pool for distressed swimmers. C. Enforces all pool rules fairly and consistently. D. Refrains from chatting with friends or co-workers, texting or talking on the phone, eating while on duty. E. Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner according to guidelines taught in Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR Training. II. Off Stand Duties A. Reports to duty on time. G. Follow call in procedures.
