The LIMS Administrator is responsible for assistance in developing and maintaining all LIMS-related programming and assists with other IT development and maintenance needs.

His or her primary responsibilities will include:
Administer and maintain LIMS system

Maintain LIMS Standard Operating Procedures Manual and LIMS Disaster Recovery Plan

Strategize improvements to LIMS for business data management and efficiencies

Assist in identification of areas for LIMS service improvements

Build new test codes in LIMS

Provide data for analysis utilizing queries and reporting tools

Educate team members regarding LIMS operations and procedures

Maintain inventory of Aegis LIMS-related software licensing

Other tasks as needed, including data maintenance functions (upgrades, backup)

Qualified candidates for this position must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

Previous database experience required
