The LM6000 Product Champion will be the technical expert and key customer advocate for the Aeroderivative Services business. This individual will have significant responsibilities in maintaining the fleet reliability and availability of the global LM6000 fleet.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
  • Issue fleet alert Service letters for the LM6000 product line
  • Review new product bulletins being developed by the LM6000 product line
  • Drive LM6000 fleet alert bulletin compliance across all customer facing team members
  • Lead the communication efforts at GE & User conferences for the LM6000 product line
  • Under the guidance of the Issue Resolution leader, assist the customer facing teams as needed to resolve potential LM6000 fleet issues
  • Support the efforts of the Quality team to screen and identify potential product fixes, bulletins, and process improvements involving the LM6000 fleet
  • Feedback opportunities and possible focus areas for the Knowledge Solutions / Services 2.0 team
  • Participate as Services’ key representative to the LM6000 Product Control Board

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of business experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience involved in support of or working with the LM6000 product line in a technical or customer support role ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and industry codes
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified (GE employees only)

  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal / external customers
  • Familiarity with Aeroderivative LM6000 packages and control systems
  • Have credibility and be well networked for influence, able to open doors
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a proactive change agent, passionate about quality and customer loyalty
  • Root-cause / troubleshooting experience with the ability to drive significant culture changes
  • Proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills
  • Capable of analyzing data to make sound decisions
  • Excellent project management and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in software applications MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Oracle, E-matrix, ServiceNow, and GE GenSuite and SupportCentral is a benefit
  • Self-motivated, self-starter capable of remaining flexible to changing work priorities
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal, oral and written
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, with the ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
