As directed by the RN, provides direct outpatient nursing care including treatments,
medication and diagnostic studies. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients
in the specific age range of their assigned nursing unit.
Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient
satisfaction in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Geisinger Health System.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current L.P.N. licensure (or eligible)
for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required.
BLS certification preferred.
Duration of on-the-job training to become familiar with job duties varies by department.
One year prior pediatric experience preferred
One year prior clinic experience preferred
IV certification, EKG.
Flexibility to cross cover sister clinic.
