Quintiles is excited to present an opportunity to join our Global Team, as a subject matter expert at our client's facility in New Jersey. This role will serve to enhance our partnership and delivery model working with a Top 3 pharma company, and will involve extensive client interaction to support new and ongoing clinical trials being supported by Quintiles Central Lab and other partners.
To serve as a local ambassador for Quintiles through day to day interactions with the client teams to promote the role of Quintiles Laboratory in the New Health.
To provide an onsite resource to the Sponsor's Clinical teams and assistance in the development and management of both current and future studies which will be managed by Quintiles Central Lab.
To add significant value to the Sponsor / Quintiles relationship by provision of expertise-based input and risk management to new and existing clinical trials being managed by Sponsor and Quintiles Central Lab.
To utilize knowledge based input to drive more efficient clinical trials and lead to clean, concise clinical trial data sets.
To work closely with Sponsor's Operational Client Lead (OCL) and promote optimized knowledge management and consistent best-practice
Consults and assists Sponsor's Clinical teams during the set up of new studies
Consults and advises Sponsor's teams on Central Lab components during clinical protocol development and assists in full handover to Quintiles project management in collaboration with Business Development and OCL team
Provides real-time face-to-face interaction with the Sponsor to facilitate responses to central lab general queries and project specific questions including inquiries from sites, medical monitors, CRA's, etc.
Trains Sponsor's teams in Central Lab components of clinical trials to ensure a streamlined study launch and robust risk management strategy
Works with key stakeholders in Sponsor's franchises to develop more efficient working practices across the partnership
Liaises with Quintiles functional areas and Operational Client Lead to ensure best practices and lessons learned to be shared with the onsite Sponsor teams and the global Quintiles team
Develops and delivers learning materials to the Sponsor and Quintiles teams to promote bipartite awareness and familiarity of processes.
Provide liaison between Quintiles remote Set Up / Project Managers and the Sponsor's teams on current studies.
Minimum Bachelors degree in a related subject or equivalent combination of education, training or experience
At least 5 years experience in Clinical Trials Management with experience of managing central laboratory services a distinct advantage
Extensive knowledge and experience of Clinical Trial Management Systems, project planning and project management tools
Extensive client facing experience with the ability to manage and maintain internal and external client expectations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
Willingness to travel between Customer sites and Quintiles Lab facilities as required
