Encore Productions is currently looking for an experienced Labor Coordinator. The purpose and main focus of the Labor Coordinator is to handle the day-to-day
tasks involved with the scheduling of union and show labor. The position will also assist in managing the utilization of labor resources to achieve maximum profitability of hours and dollars spent. Additional responsibilities include:
Submit all letters of request to the union hall.
Contact personnel to pre-notify them of calls.
Keep accurate records of all calls and schedules.
Monitor and utilize methods to abate sixth and seventh day overtime for union personnel.
Conduct sign in/out of labor during normal hours or as needed.
Collect and submit all labor related paperwork.
Assist with coordinating the use of full time technical staff to fill calls.
Get confirmed call sheets from union dispatch.
Updates and maintains contact sheets for all positions.

High School diploma or equivalent
Two (2) to four (4) years experience in staffing technical skilled labor in a union environment.
Experience handling budgets and must be able to calculate figures.
Detail and service oriented with strong organizational skills is a must.
Audio/Visual experience is strongly preferred.
