  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Manages labor relations programs of organization: analyzes collective bargaining agreement to develop interpretation of intent, spirit and terms of contract.
  • Advises management and union officials in development, application, and interpretation of labor relations policies and practices according to policy.
  • Analyze information about grievances furnished by applicants, team members and managers in order to make recommendations for corrective action. Reports significant events and problem resolution efforts to the Vice President of Human Resources.
  • Arranges and schedules meetings between grieving workers, supervisory and managerial personnel and business representatives and labor union to investigate and resolve grievances.
  • Prepares statistical reports, using records of actions taken concerning grievances, arbitration and mediation cases and related labor relations activities to identify problem areas.
  • Monitors implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions to ensure compliance with terms of labor contract.
  • Furnishes information, such as reference documents and statistical data concerning labor legislation, labor market conditions, prevailing union and management practices, wage and salary surveys, and employee benefits programs for use in review of current contract provisions and proposed changes.
  • May represent management in labor contract negotiations.
  • Researches and interprets employment laws, (NRS, FLSA, Title VII, EEOC, etc.) for application to specific applicant or team member relations situations, such as team member lawsuits or Board of review hearings.
  • Manages the Board of Review program to assure integrity of the grievance hearing system, assigns representatives, administers Board of Review applications, training and assures timely documentation and reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement through educating managers, monitoring adherence to terms of the union agreement and mediating team member grievances.
  • Stays abreast of progressive HR practices, key trends and new developments and interpretations in the field of labor law.
  • Assists in union avoidance campaigns and coordinates with managers to develop a proactive approach in responding to team member relations issues and recommends the appropriate intervention.
  • Regularly schedule and facilitate focus group meetings and ensure follow up.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Perform work regularly and predictably.
  • Other duties as assigned.
