Position Purpose:
To set up and conduct a variety of laboratory tests and experiments by applying established methods, procedures, and techniques in support of research studies directed at treating and diagnosing small cell cancer and breast cancer.

Skills & Knowledge:
Competence in several laboratory methods, procedures and techniques as well as the equipment and instruments, e.g. RIA, RT-PCR; antibody production; sterile cell culture. Ability to work independently with good judgment and good organizational and time management skills. Willingness to work with/be exposed to hazardous materials such as radioactive materials, infectious materials, and/or hazardous chemicals. Knowledge of computers and software applications.

Minimum Experience:
One year of relevant laboratory or science experience.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree with a major in Biology or Chemistry, Biology or Biochemistry desirable.
