Summary: Under close supervision, performs routine lab supporting in cleaning. Understand the operations of Product Development and provide assistance to scientists for maintenance of Product Development Lab and manufacturing facility. Set-up, operate and maintain manufacturing equipment. Manufacture finished products according to established procedures with minimum supervision. Properly document experimental and manufacturing procedures and results. Follows established policies, procedures and practices.
Years of Experience Required: 1 to 4 years experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food industry
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Description: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. . Learns to perform cleaning and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP . . Learns to perform experiments / batches and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP . . Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge of: . Current Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP and other relevant regulatory requirements. . Equipments used in pharmaceutical manufacturing / Process used in pharmaceutical manufacturing . Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation. . Basic mathematical computations. . Current Company policies, practices and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Skill in: . Following verbal and written directions. . Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. . Operating scientific and personal computers. . Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others. . Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds, vision to monitor and moderate to loud noise levels.
