Job Title: LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Jet Fuel quality analysis.
  • Responsible to mange, prepare, complete, file and transmit all documentations applicable to work performed.
  • Responsible to follow and apply applicable regulations when performing tests.
  • Responsible to implement safety standards and policies at all time.
  • Responsible to comply with all applicable environmental guidelines.
  • Responsible for all tests and data and certification requirements.


  • Requirements:

  • Have a valid Driver License.
  • Pass SPF Math skill test.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift and occasional overtime to maintain certified fuel requirements.


  • Duties:

  • Coordinate with Operations for fuel testing priorities.
  • Order and maintain lab supplies.
  • Perform Jet Fuel testing in accordance with ASTM, ATA and other testing standards.
  • Maintain all records, files and backup files.
  • Record, report and store all test and data and certification requirements.
  • Report all certificate of analysis pass or fail to management.
  • Dispose of samples appropriately.
  • Understand product schedule program (fuel projections).
  • Perform fuel receipt testing and sampling.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor and or listed in the GPPM Supplement.
