This is an administrative role that will perform a variety of routine and complex Land Department assignments. The individual
will work under general supervision but may refer to instructions and pre-established guidelines in performing job functions.
Provide administrative Land functions that may include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare, update and maintain all land documentation, land maps and lease records.
Ensure information is in compliance with all local, state and federal agency guidelines and regulations.
Gathers information, analyzes, summarizes and prepares reports and prepsentations.
Conducts a general analysis and interpretation of the provisions of various deeds, right-of-way agreements and title opinions
in order that a property record base can be created and maintained.
Reviews, interprets and analyzes working interests and royalty interests based on deeds, assignments, transfers and
Assists in the preparation of various forms, assignments and releases on different types of property interests.
Provide land information for mining permits.
Perform other tasks assigned as necessary by supervision
The successful candidate must
Safety conscious and follow all safety regulations/requirements
Possess knowledge of commonly used Land concepts, practices and procedures.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple tasks, resources, and time
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
2-4 years of previous land experience preferred.
Previous industry experience desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills required with Microsoft Office software experience.
SAP experience desirable.
