This position will be primarily responsible for the layout design of mixed signal circuits on CMOS processes. Primary duties include:

Top and block level creation, edit and full verification using

layout

techniques for matching, ESD, latch-up prevention and parasitic reduction

·

Transistor level sub block layout based on schematics provided by designers, including careful analog considerations e.g. cross connections, interleaved layout,

matching of metal routes and interconnections, Kelvin connections and layout of parasitic-sensitive analog elements like DAC capacitors and resistors.

·

Completion of LVS and DRC check and verification tools

·

Hold and attend layout reviews

·

Expect to work on interesting projects either individually or within a motivated team committed to engineering success

·

Layout leader for multisite chips. Duties would involve:
·

Coordinating work for multiple layout engineers, along with being able to work on block level also.

·

Reviewing schedules and problem solving issues in a timely manner

·

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, with 5 years of IC layout experience. (MEMs experience a plus)

SOS experience required.

Self motivation, results and team oriented, with good communication skills

Experience with EDA layout tools, such as Virtuoso, Virtuoso XL, Hercules, Caliber

ESD pad ring and High Voltage experience desireable
