This full-time position will be based at our partner store's location near Mayfair Mall.

Candidates must have availability to work between the hours of 10:00 AM to 9:00PM Monday through Saturday and 10:00AM to 7:00PM on Sundays.

Rate of pay is hourly plus commissions.

Position Summary:
The Lead Rep is a sales position with added responsibility of overseeing the daily performance and operational procedures of the cable or retail store in the absence of a manager or supervisor. This position acts as a liaison between front line sales reps and the management team. The Lead Sales Rep will assist the management team in performing all the daily departmental functions.
Essential Job Functions
Perform all duties and assignments of a retail sales representative. Examples are but not limited to:
Responding to customer inquiries, and processing service requests following prescribed department policies and procedures. Escalate severely complex issues to Supervisor/Manager as necessary.
Promote and sell all Time Warner Cable services and inform customers of entertainment options following prescribed department policies and procedures.
Research and troubleshoot customer concerns including repair and reception problems in person and over the telephone to reduce truck service calls whenever possible. Educate customers regarding services and converter/remote equipment
Assist Supervisor/Manager in all training and coaching initiatives. Provide feedback to management regarding performance issues and suggest training opportunities as appropriate.
Assume shift responsibilities in Supervisor's absence by coordinating department staffing and scheduling activities. following prescribed department policies and procedures.
Assist Supervisor/Manager with other departmental operations such as payroll, Kronos time keeping, department training, department activity reports, auditing work order accuracy, etc. as deemed necessary
Coordinate and monitor routine departmental activities for management team.
Assist supervisor in preparation and tracking possible expenses which includes proper coding to expense accounts.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of all departmental policies and procedures in order to provide leadership in absence of a supervisor and to effectively assist other staff with complex customer issues.
Ability to work independently and exhibit good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
Has exhibited a consistently high level of performance in quality and volume of sales during past 12 months.
Excellent skills with personal computers, ICOMS billing system, and various software programs including MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and various software packages unique to customer service or to the cable industry.
Ability to speak and converse in a second language (bilingual skills) desirable.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Willingness to continuously improve skills and provide a high level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum two years as TWC cable/mall store sales representative or equivalent experience.
Two years previous experience providing training and delegating work to others

Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities:
Lead: Assigns, trains, schedules or oversees work of others.
